Privacy

Portfolio is a small app by Anthronaut. It stores the business ideas you write down and nothing else. Short version: your data is yours.

What we store

• Your email address, to sign you in (shared with other Anthronaut apps, so one account works everywhere).
• The businesses and income streams you create, with their numbers.
• Whether you've turned AI suggestions on or off.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking scripts, no selling or sharing your data.
• No connections to banks or other apps: everything is entered by you.
• No emails beyond your sign-in code.

AI suggestions

If you ask for a business idea, nothing about you is sent: just a random industry and region to keep ideas varied. If you ask for income streams, that business's name, description, location and currency are sent to Google's Gemini API, along with the names of streams it already has. Your email and your other businesses are never sent. You can turn AI suggestions off in Settings.

Who can see your data

Only you. Every row is protected by row-level security in the database, so one account can never read another's data. Other Anthronaut apps can't see your Portfolio data.

Your controls

Download everything as CSV or JSON from Settings, any time. Delete your Portfolio data from Settings: it's removed right away. Your sign-in is removed too, unless you use another Anthronaut app.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (US East) and the app runs on Render (US East). Sign-in codes are sent through Resend.
